I live in Las Vegas, NV and i want to go to a California university. All the requirements are basically the same. I'm below the standard but not below the minimum. Are the universities strict on accepting students, or are the requirements more like guidelines?

I don't know about other California colleges, but UC schools (Berkley, UCLA, Irvine, etc.) are extra hard to get into for non-California residents. I don't know why, it's not fair really.

i got accepted into cali schools my senior year of highschool with a 2.8 and terrible attendance and next to no activities :)

CSU schools are hard to get in for out-of-state people especially now since all of their schools are impacted. You basically need a gpa around 3.5 and competent SAT scores
