hey dude there are many college which provides online courses . just check out this website http://www.cvc.edu/ http://www.clickindia.com/detail.php?id=964161
Answer 2 :
Why are you specifically looking for online colleges in california? if you are going take a course online, it doesnt matter where you are from. As long as the college you join is accredited, you shouldn't have any problems transfering your credits when you move back to california. Now different colleges offer different courses but the list of colleges is certainly endless. Beware of diploma mills. They are a total waste of your time and money. Here is a link to get more info on diploma mills http://www.onlineedublog.com/accredited-college-online/ here is a link to find accredited online colleges. Some might be in california. Just check for yourself. http://onlinedegreetalk.org/ kevin

Which California college is better for majoring in zoology

Which California college is better for majoring in zoology?
I'm attending community college in the fall, but I figured its probably better to know which university I want to transfer to ASAP. I've pretty much narrowed it down to CSU Long Beach, or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Any other suggestions and reasons would be fine though. I just want to make sure that I'll go to one that has a good (if not top of the line) zoology program. It would be especially helpful if you yourself are currently majoring in zoology in a California college, or go to one of the above colleges.

Answer 1 :
I earned my zoology degree at Cal Poly, Pomona (sister school to SLO) and really liked the classes offered under this major. I assume both schools probably have similar course requirements. Sorry, cannot compare to Long Beach, am not familiar with their classes, etc. I actually did not even know they offered a zoology major even though I live in So. California...not sure if that says something about their program or not.

Answer 1 :
You will be repaying those college loans for the rest of your life. Art is in the soul, why do you need someone else to inspire you? Did the great artists learn their gift in school? I would reconsider the entire thing. 10k absolute bare minimum for tuition.....5k for books and housing for one year is 15 a year. That is 60k. Now if you went to work you would earn (again bare minimum) 20k and over 4 years that is 80k. That is roughly 150,000 dollars for someone else to tell you what is in your soul and teach you to be creative? Isnt that the opposite of art? 150k at 5% is 7.5k a year in interest alone and compounded over 50 years is 1.7 million dollars. Go to a compound interest calculator and put the numbers in yourself if you do not believe me. Now that is with minimum numbers and only at 5% and assuming you do not add a penny. Nearly 2 million by the time you are 70. Unless you are going to be a doctor or engineer or in business, you are a fool to go to college...especially for "art" *still paying off college loans after 10 years and not even half way done* I posted this to another similar post....hope it gives you something to think about cause I made this mistake.

How to apply to a California college with a international HS diploma? Special circumstances

How to apply to a California college with a international HS diploma? Special circumstances?
I grew up in California and have a green card, SSN and all that. Now I live in Germany and will graduate from school here with a German Abitur. Is there any way I can apply to a California college as an in-state student? Thanks

Answer 1 :
You can't be an in-state CA student. You actually have to be a resident of California - living in CA, with you or your parents paying taxes, registered to vote, paying a mortgage/rent, working, etc. - in order to do that. Since you will obviously have been living in Germany, you won't qualify. You can apply to California colleges as a non-resident, and pay non-resident tuition.
