Am I guaranteed to get into a community college in California if I live in Washington

Am I guaranteed to get into a community college in California if I live in Washington? ?
I live In WA state, but if I apply for a community college in California (and I can afford it), am I guaranteed admission? I have a 3.6 GPA and took some honors and AP classes, idk if that matters.

Depends where your home of record is brianiac.
Answer 2 :
yes. they will take you, as long as you can pay for it
Answer 3 :
Washington, California? Being in state is more relavent than good grades at Jr. college
Answer 4 :
I don't think you're guaranteed to get into any college ever really, but with a 3.6 GPA and AP classes I'm sure you'll gain admission. They'll probably have you do placement tests for english, math etc. so be sure to do it ASAP. The longer you wait to go to college, the harder the placement tests become as your memory fades.
Answer 5 :
I am from Kent,Wa i go to school in northern California, you just have to pay out of state tuition and its a community college they pretty much except everyone
Answer 6 :
community college is junior college. all you have to do to get into a community college in california is to have your high school diploma or be 18 years of age. that's it. you don't need anything else. just pay your classes and you're in school

Answer 1 :
prob UCLA or Stanford
Answer 2 :
Either Berkley or UCLA
Answer 3 :
The best rated in CA are UC Davis, UC Berkley, UCLA, and USC. I assume you mean medical doctor. You'd be looking at another 3-7 years of school and training.
Answer 4 :
go look at the Princeton review's website. They rank schools both geographically and by field
Answer 5 :
I would say University of California in San Fransisco. I know a burn trauma surgeon who went there he is the lead surgeon in the biggest burn center in the east coast Lehigh Valley.
Answer 6 :
Premed tracks almost always include one year of biology with a lab (evolutionary/populations/anatomy and molecular/genetic/cellular), a semester of general chemistry with a lab, a year of organic chemistry with lab, a year of advanced chemistry with a lab, and a year of physics with a lab. Some schools also require a writing course or a public speaking course. Since med schools require a bachelor's degree, you will almost inevitably have to go to college for four years, at the fewest, three (but you don't want to leave college early - college is awesome). You can then expect anywhere from 4 to 12 years for medical school, residency, and/or fellowship. Stanford, UCLA, and Berkley are probably among the best in California. Santaclara is actually also supposed to be really good for premed.
Answer 7 :
A medical doctor has a medical degree, not a doctoral degree - an MD is a medical degree that lets you treat patients, a PhD is a research degree (doctorate). The best med schools in CA include Stanford and UCLA, but first you need to get a 4-year bachelors degree and take the premed classes - and it does not need to be at the school you want to go to med school at. It's 8 years of college total and a minimum of 3 years of residency.
Answer 8 :
UCSF.
Answer 9 :
UCLA or USC but UCSF is by far the best even better than stanford

Is Art Institute California Design College any good

Is Art Institute California Design College any good?
I am looking into design schools to attend so that I can get a foundation in design (for my GD career). A lot of the good ones require a portfolio (which I don̢۪t have) so I need to find schools that don̢۪t have that as a entry requirement. One of the one̢۪s I found is Art Institute California Design College. Anybody know if this school is any good?

I know it's a little pricey. I think it is in LA. You might want to request some information on them, and maybe check rate my professor?
