Look up the classes that are still available and go to the website... http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ to see what the ratings are for the teachers. They get graded by easiness as well as helpful, clarity, and even hotness. Check it out!

Looking for a good fit for a california college

Looking for a good fit for a california college?
Looking for colleges in california where the admissions are not all 90%+ in state. I would like at least 5000 people. Nothing in actual cities. Right outside a big city would be best. 3.0-3.5 GPA range. Thanks.

Should I go to college in California

Should I go to college in California?
I live in Massachusetts, and I applied early action to a college in California. I haven't visited it yet, but I will if I get accepted. What is it like going to school so far from home? How extreme is the difference between California and Massachusetts?

I think that the difference would be half of the experience, and you would learn so much. If it is a hassle for you to get across the country, you may not want to. Visit!!

Live in Wisconsin and want to go to college in California. What r my chances?
I want to go to college in los angeles or southern california area. I live in wisconsin and have a 3.55 GPA and scored a 26 on the ACT. What are my chances of getting into a college and what colleges could I get into in this area? USC? UCLA? Also I'm thinking about becoming a pharmacist. Thanks for you help

Answer 1 :
You could get into Occidental College or a smaller UC. San Diego state is a large possibility but I am not so sure about UCLA and USC. UCLA is for the top kids and most spots are reserved for California residents. USC is for extremely rich kids, tuition and everything is costly and you would have to go against the richest and top kids in California. I say give San Diego State or UC: Santa Barbara a try.
Answer 2 :
Well, there are other colleges in California besides USC and UCLA, two of the hardest schools to gain admittance to. Considering your GPA and ACT score, I would say that your chances for gaining admission to either of these schools is very slim, since the average GPA is close to a 4.0, and even many students with a 4.0+ are rejected since other factors are taken into account as well (involvement, personal statements, etc). Consider other schools if you'd like to come to California - we have plenty that will take you with good pharmacy programs! Good luck with your college search!
Answer 3 :
It will be very hard for you to get into UCLA becuase you are not a california resident. Also, for out of state students for both USC and UCLA, you have to get a higher gpa and try to get over a 30 on the ACT. Good luck.
