I live in the midwest and have always wanted to go to a university by a beach. I can spend around $25,000 max. Please list any of the universities that you think might fit my criteria. I live in a decent sized city so I would rather not go to a university in the country .Thanks

California has a top-notch higher education system.

Florida has a pretty good and relatively inexpensive state university system, even for out-of-state students. Their flagship school is the Univ of Florida which is about an hour and fifteen minutes from the beach. USF, UNF and FAU are all near the beach. USF is in Tampa and is a good college. There's also the University of Miami, but that's a private school and it's pretty expensive. California has plenty of great schools near the beach, but the cost of living in California is sky high and tuition is pretty expensive as well. Good luck!
