I found this doing a search of the college's website, sounds like you should start with your counsler at school for info: High school juniors and seniors may enroll in most engineering technology courses free of cost to earn both high school and college credit under the Veysey Program. For more information about the Veysey Program, minors should speak with their high school counselors. The Cerritos College Engineering Technology Department has course credit transfer agreements with CSULA, CSULB and other surrounding universities.

Is it hard for out-of-state high schoolers to go to college in California

Is it hard for out-of-state high schoolers to go to college in California?
I have a dream college in California, but I heard that you had to take a lot of SAT II's. I've already taken two in freshman year and sent them to this school, but can someone please elaborate>

To get a useful answer, you need to tell us the name of your school and your SAT scores plus GPA. Also freshman year is too early to send stuff to the school.

Answer 1 :
If you've lived in new york for two years, you are not a california resident and you will be required to pay out of state tuition. Unless you are in new york as an out of state student or are military.
Answer 2 :
It depends, you may just be going to school in NY and for 2 years, and your parents are still in California...etc. The condition can be complicated. Basically, it does require that you prove physical presence - < To establish residence you must be physically present in California for more than one year (366 days) immediately prior to the residence determination date of the term for which you are trying to classify as a resident.> Also it depends on how you explain and provide documentations on all those. Please check out the "California Residence for Tuition Purposes" links below, as long as you can argue your case, you may be able to reclassify or get tuition waiver.
