I want to be a history/social studies teacher. I want to teach High school students, but which public, four year universities in California cater to the degree I am seeking? In other words, what colleges can I go to in California that will let me become a HS History teacher?

You can go pretty much anywhere. What you want is a program that will allow you to get a teaching certiciate and a BA in history at the same time and that's most schools.
