I really want to live and study in California. I understand California community colleges are quite cheap, and even for internationals the fees are considerably cheaper than anywhere else. Problem is there are just so many to choose from! Can someone point me towards a school that is reputable (has good academic reputation) and also cheap? So far I've looked into Butte College which seems reasonable (compared to the tuition fees Internationals pay elsewhere). Thanks in advance!

I would go to www.allaboutcollege.com and click college university. Click United states. Then click california and pick a community college that sounds best and read what they offer. I went to Long Beach city college. I hope this help.

The state sets the tuition for all of the community colleges in the state. So it will be the same wherever you go. You might find some differences on fees, but that's it. So pick one that you like and try for that. As far as where to go, it depends on what you want to study.
