I know alot of people that have graduated college and there not even doing what they majoried in or they say its not worth it. So i was thinking of going to one of those trade schools. I see these commercials for Heald college in California. I was going to take business admin. In the office of course they say its a good program and you can get a good high paying job, but i want to hear from a true person thats not on there pay roll. Is it a good course.

It's better than not going for a 4 year college. Find something that you like, stick to it, and study.

Can a California Community College student take a single class at a CSU or UC prior to admission

Can a California Community College student take a single class at a CSU or UC prior to admission?
I have heard that California community college students can take a class or two at a CSU or UC before being admitted. Is this true and does anyone have any information about it? My problem is I cannot find a calculus class that fits my schedule and I don't mind paying extra if I can take it SJSU. I could call admissions, but just wanted to check if anyone has heard about this program.

Yes you can, or at least you were able to in the past. I signed up for 3 before I was officially enrolled in my major. Absolutely contact the school right away. You might find that you can take a couple which would be cooler than going to a CC. If that doesn't work, enroll in a different CC. There are so many in the bay area. There's SJCC, Evergreen, DeAnza, Foothill, Ohlone, and a bunch more. One of them is bound to offer a class that fits your schedule better. Or go to multiple schools. My friend did that.

Which California community college has the cheapest tuition fees for INTERNATIONAL students

Which California community college has the cheapest tuition fees for INTERNATIONAL students?
I really want to live and study in California. I understand California community colleges are quite cheap, and even for internationals the fees are considerably cheaper than anywhere else. Problem is there are just so many to choose from! Can someone point me towards a school that is reputable (has good academic reputation) and also cheap? So far I've looked into Butte College which seems reasonable (compared to the tuition fees Internationals pay elsewhere). Thanks in advance!

Answer 1 :
I would go to www.allaboutcollege.com and click college university. Click United states. Then click california and pick a community college that sounds best and read what they offer. I went to Long Beach city college. I hope this help.
Answer 2 :
The state sets the tuition for all of the community colleges in the state. So it will be the same wherever you go. You might find some differences on fees, but that's it. So pick one that you like and try for that. As far as where to go, it depends on what you want to study.
